Land Surveyor

Auerbach Engineering Corporation (AEC), a leading consulting firm specializing in local projects in the Tahoe-Truckee region, is interviewing experienced and professional Land Surveyors at this time.

REQUIREMENTS | Land Surveyor-in-Training is ideal but not required. Preference will be given to graduates from an accredited college or university with a degree in Geomatics, Survey, Civil Engineering, Forestry Engineering or related discipline. Any combination of similar education and training in land surveying work is acceptable for applicants with the desired skills and abilities.

All applicants should be comfortable with:

  • field survey methods, techniques, and use of survey instruments;
  • geometry, algebra, and trigonometry as it pertains to land surveying;
  • typical computer hardware and software for land surveying;
  • and have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

SCHEDULE | This position is typically seasonal, making it ideal for individuals with winter employment in the area. However, opportunity for advancement and year-round employment within the company is possible for those interested in advancing their career as a Land Surveyor and/or CAD Drafter.
