Walter R. Auerbach, PE
Walter has been engineering civil projects since protractors, compasses, and T-squares were common desktop items. His experience is invaluable to the quality of our services, and his skills have led us to win many awards and recognition within the community.
Nathan Chorey, P.E.
Nathan is the glue that holds our team together. As Project Manager he’s like a duck on Lake Tahoe: Calm on the surface, but always paddling hard to get where he needs to. His experience with local agencies and growing list of certifications serves him well on every project he touches.
Keith Masuda, P.E., P.L.S.
Keith was born to be a Land Surveyor. He is a true local and probably knows more about the land here in North Lake Tahoe than anyone else. His list of services and experience is a mile long and it is more than apparent he loves what he does.
Lydia is our Tahoe-Truckee regional planning and permitting expert. If there’s an agency that has a say in your project, she knows how to approach them. She is ACIP certified, experienced, and super friendly to work with.
Patrick is our multi-talented CAD drafter, GIS analyzer, and SWPPP tester. He rarely complains and gets his work done on time. We like that, and many other things about him.
Aaron has a penchant for outdoor adventure. In the office, though, he looks like an engineer, talks like an engineer, and acts like an engineer. His interest in recreation fuels his interest in many of our projects.
Alex is our youngest employee, and one of our newest employees, but he is striving to be the best employee! He joined us in 2018 after graduating from Oregon Tech and we're slowly breaking him into the Tahoe lifestyle to make sure he sticks around for awhile.
Christina joined AEC in February 2019, and hasn't stopped smiling since. If she hates it here, she's doing a great job hiding it.
Jessica runs the show from her desk at the front of the office; or at least she likes to think she does. From billing to payroll, she makes sure AEC’s funds are coming from and going to the correct places.
Seasonal Land Surveyors
These guys deserve a shout out. They are the skilled individuals using technical equipment to survey private property, public land, and development projects alike. Tahoe is no easy place to do that kind of work, either.
